How we use your information
Old Path Revival Church ("the church") is the data controller for personal information collected on this website and in the church's records, under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. The company that supplies the TOBAS software processes that information only on the church's instructions.
What we collect
- Details you send us through forms: your name, email, phone number and message.
- Prayer requests, which only the prayer team reads unless you ask for yours to be shown on the prayer wall.
- For members: membership, giving and attendance records kept by your branch.
- Basic technical information needed to run the website securely, such as your IP address.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to care for members, to manage event bookings, to send the newsletter to people who asked for it, to keep accurate accounts and give receipts, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Messages and prayer requests are kept for as long as needed to deal with them. Financial records are kept for the period the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or, where the law allows, to delete it. You can stop the newsletter at any time with the link in every email. Write to the church office using the details on our contact page.
Draft notice for review by the church's legal adviser.
