# Phase 5C manual test script: chart of accounts versions and HQ people

For the HQ Administrator and a branch treasurer. About 20 minutes. The rules are also proved by
`tests/Feature/ChartVersionsAndPeopleTest.php`:
- chart changes wait in a draft and publish together;
- an account with a balance cannot be switched off;
- old names are kept;
- branches are told;
- People: change, reset access, branch history.

This script checks what people see.

**Logins (demo church):**
- **admin@demo.church.test**: with the password you set on 18 Oct;
- a branch treasurer: make one for Lekki under Users & roles if needed;
- **auditor@demo.church.test**: read-only.

## A. Chart versions

1. [ ] As the administrator, **Setup › Chart of accounts** says "Chart of accounts v1".
2. [ ] Under a group (e.g. 52000) **Add account** "Security services". The button now reads **Add to the
   draft version**. An amber "Draft v2" panel lists the change, and the account is not in the tree yet.
3. [ ] **Edit** an account: rename it, and untick "Open to branches" on another. Both join the draft. Edit
   the same account's name again: the draft keeps only the latest rename.
4. [ ] Try to switch off an account that has postings: refused, "still has a balance".
5. [ ] **take out** one change. Then type a note and **Publish v2**. The tree shows the new account and
   the new name.
6. [ ] **Version history** lists v2 with your note and its changes. "Earlier account names" shows the old
   name beside the new one.
7. [ ] As the branch treasurer, the dashboard and the chart page show "Chart of accounts v2 was
   published …" with the note. The treasurer can still add a branch sub-account under an account open to
   branches, at once.
8. [ ] As the auditor, the chart page shows the version but no Draft panel.

## B. People (Directs)

9. [ ] As the administrator, **Headquarters (Directs) › People in all branches**. Filter by Lekki, then by
   "Active without two-factor login".
10. [ ] **Make branch admin** on the treasurer and save. Lekki's page in the Branch register shows "Role
    changed by Headquarters" in its history.
11. [ ] **Reset access…** with a reason. The person is signed out, their old password stops working, and an
    email says their access was reset, with a link to set a new password (then two-factor login again).
    Lekki's history shows "Access reset by Headquarters".
12. [ ] Your own row has no actions. A branch admin opening `/directs/people` gets "Not found".
