# Phase 1D manual test script: overview, guides, accessibility, launch

For a non-developer. About 25 minutes. Same addresses and logins as the earlier scripts. This is also the
Release R1 acceptance check: an administrator should finish part D **without help**, using only the
in-app guide.

## A. Church overview

1. [ ] As **ikeja.pastor@toprc.test**: the menu has **Church overview** under Dashboard. It shows
   attendance, event bookings, new members and coming events, but no giving or website panels.
2. [ ] Press **Table** on a chart: the same numbers as a list. Press **Chart** to go back.
3. [ ] As **editor@toprc.test**: the overview shows the most watched sermons and website numbers
   (subscribers, messages waiting), and no money.
4. [ ] As **hq.admin@toprc.test**: every panel, including giving per week.

## B. The user guide

5. [ ] Open **User guide** (bottom of the menu): two new groups, **The church website** and **Reaching people**.
6. [ ] On any website screen (for example Website › Sermons), press **Help for this page**: the matching
   guide opens (Sermons and the live stream).
7. [ ] Check **Events and registration** mentions the door scanner and repeating events.

## C. Accessibility and speed (developer)

8. [ ] `npm run a11y` against the local site: "No problems found".
9. [ ] Using only the keyboard (Tab, Enter, Esc) on the website: skip to content, open the menu, book an
   event, open and close a gallery photo. The focused item always shows a gold outline.
10. [ ] Switch to dark mode: text stays easy to read everywhere.

## D. Administrator tasks without help (R1)

Give these tasks to someone who has not seen the CMS, with the guide open. Note where they get stuck.

11. [ ] Change the church's phone number on the website.
12. [ ] Add a sermon with a YouTube link and publish it.
13. [ ] Create a weekly event for the next four weeks and open registration.
14. [ ] Publish a news post at a set time tomorrow.
15. [ ] Approve a testimony sent from the website.
16. [ ] Send an SMS to one member group.
17. [ ] Put a prayer request on the prayer wall (as the prayer team).

## E. Starter site for a new church (developer)

18. [ ] On a copy of the database, create a church in the platform admin and run
    `php artisan site:install <its admin email>`: Home, About, Contact and Privacy exist with the
    church's own name, bracketed "[Replace…]" text and no invented people.

## Known limits of 1D

- Compression (`mod_deflate`) is off on the XAMPP test machine; the launch checklist covers the server.
- Lighthouse scores were not measured on this machine (no OPcache, so timings would mislead). Measure on
  the live server before launch (target: mobile performance 90+).
